Any force on the move, whether it's an army or an adventuring group, needs information about what's ahead and what's behind and, most important, time to prepare for battle. A Scout can navigate difficult terrain at good speed, and she specializes in seeing her foe before the opponent ever detects her presence. In a dungeon or in the wild, a Scout is only seen when she wants to be

- Hit Die: d40
- Proficiencies: Martial, simple and rogue weapons, light armor.
- Skill Points (*4 at 1st level): 8 + Int Modifier.

LEVEL:

1: Skirmish - Scout relies on mobility to deal an extra 1d6 physical damage per Scout level.
Careful Aim I - Grants +5 attack bonus and +10 physical bonus damage. Ranged weapon bonus damage will deal balistic damage.
2: Uncanny Dodge - The character retains his Dex bonus to AC, even if caught flat-footed or attacked by a hidden or invisible creature.
3: Evasion - Whenever a Reflex save is allowed for half damage, the character instead takes no damage if he succeeds at the save.

5: Careful Aim II - Bonus increases to +10 attack bonus and +20 physical damage.
6: Alertness - +10 bonus to Spot and Listen checks due to finely tuned senses.
7: Trackless Step - This feat grants a +10 competence bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks when in wilderness areas.

9: Woodland Stride - Immune to the Grease, Web, and Entangle spells.
10: Hide in Plain Sight - Can hide even while being observed.
Careful Aim III - Bonus increases to +15 attack bonus and +30 physical damage.
11: Fleet Footed - The Scout runs faster than everyone else, having a 66% bonus to movement speed, but loses this benefit when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load.
12: Bonus Feat
13: Blindsense - Using nonvisual senses, such as acute smell or hearing, a creature with blindsense notices things it cannot see. Gain the benefits of Ultravision.
14: Blooded - Character gains a +5 bonus on Initiative and a +10 bonus on Spot checks.
15: Careful Aim IV - Bonus increases to +20 attack bonus and +40 physical damage.
16: Bonus Feat
17: Improved Initiative - +5 bonus to initiative checks.
18: Escape Artist - The Scout can slip out of bonds, grapples, and even the effects of confining spells easily, but loses this benefit when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load.
19: Thug - Character gains a +5 bonus on Initiative checks and a +10 bonus on Persuade checks.
20: Careful Aim V - Bonus increases to +25 attack bonus and +50 physical damage.
