When this spell is cast, the caster chooses to be protected from either good or evil. He receives a +7 deflection bonus to Armor Class, immunity to mind-affecting spells and spell-like abilities used by creatures of the chosen alignment, and spell resistance 35 against spells cast by creatures of the chosen alignment. Creatures of the chosen alignment also take 1d6 divine damage per caster level each time they successfully strike the Cleric.

While the spell is in effect, you gain a +8 enhancement bonus to Strenght, Dexterity, intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma, a +8 natural armor bonus to Armor Class as your skin briefly crusts and hardens, a +8 competence bonus on Fortitude saves, and 800 temporary hit points. While the empowerment lasts, you are unable to cast any other mother cyst feat-enabled spell.

The caster summons a globe of divine radiance to blind and burn those within the area of effect. Undead take 20d4 divine damage per caster level. All other monster types take 8d4 divine damage, and are blinded for 2 rounds. A successful Reflex save halves the damage and blindness duration.

This spell causes an undead creature to explode in a burst of powerful energy when struck for at least 1 point of damage, or at a set time no longer than the duration of the spell, whichever comes first. The explosion is a 10-foot radius burst that deals 20d10 necrotic damage every ten caster levels plus 1d10 necrotic damage per caster level. While this spell can be an effective form of attack against an undead creature, necromancers often use unliving weapon to create undead capable of suicide attacks (if such a term can be applied to something that is already dead). Skeletons or zombies with this spell cast upon them can be very dangerous to foes that would normally disregard them. True Necromancy effect: Affected friendly undead gains 25% necrotic resistance.
